The 2025 BYD Song Plus pure electric model is called EV. The BYD Song Plus EV starts at 149,800 yuan ($21,000) and has a cruising range of up to 605 kilometers.
The 2025 BYD Song Plus hybrid is called DM-i. The BYD Song plus DM-i price range is 135,800 – 175,800 yuan (19,000 – 24,600 US dollars)

The 2025 BYD Song PLUS EV has been significantly upgraded in many aspects, mainly in appearance, configuration, and power system. The following are the specific upgrade contents:

Appearance
1. Car light design: Continuous taillights and combined front headlights. A new luminous LOGO is added to the rear of the car, which enhances the recognition and sophistication of the vehicle.

2. Wheels: 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels are both sporty and safe, and the 235mm tire width is more stable and safe.

3. Interior color matching: The new car adopts Xuantian color + gravel rice interior color matching, with 31-color surround colorful ambient lights and "Heart of the Ocean" central control layout, making the cockpit space more high-quality and technological.

Configuration upgrade
1. Convenient functions: A new "car reservation" function has been added. Users can set the vehicle to automatically perform battery heating, cabin air conditioning and temperature control through the mobile APP to improve the efficiency and economy of using the car.
2. Practical configuration: All new cars come standard with more than 16 core configurations such as the high-end version of the smart cockpit - DiLink 100, 360° high-definition holographic transparent imaging system, cloud service APP intelligent remote control driving, electric tailgate, and on-board ETC. Achieving "entry with high configuration".

3. Intelligent driving assistance: The new car is equipped with more than ten functions such as Intelligent Navigation Control (ICC), Lane Departure Assist (LDA), Predictive Collision Warning (FCW) & Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Rear Cross Traffic Braking (RCTB), etc. The DiPilot intelligent driving assistance function comprehensively ensures driving safety.
4. Detailed configuration: The center console uses a 15.6-inch floating rotating large screen, which supports voice interaction and gesture recognition. It can be equipped with a heated steering wheel and a 50W wireless mobile phone charging pad.
